How Does Climate Affect What We Wear? Students investigate properties of different types of clothing.
How Do We Forecast Weather? Students investigate ways that scientists collect weather data and forecast weather.
What Causes the Seasons Students explore what causes the seasons.
Flathead Leasons Summary
Give Me Some Air! Students investigate the value of trees by calculating the number of trees needed to support the reservation population's oxygen needs.
Names Upon the Mountains Students examine the concepts of conservation and resources, examine tribal place names, and become familiar with conservation efforts of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.
Nez Perce Leasons Summary
Ant and Yellow Jacket Through the reading of a Nez Perce story about a culturally significant geological site and hands on activities, students will learn about the different types of rocks and geology.
Journey of the Salmon Students predict salmon migration routes and explore how dams affect salmon migration.
Suitecase, Parfleche and Isaaptakay Students learn about the parfleche and explore how Nez Perce people used natural materials to derive colors for their artwork.
